SANDAG has rolled out the Climate Action Data Portal

The Climate Action Data Portal is an online resource for climate planning data for the San Diego region. Its purpose is to provide easily accessible, best available data to assist local jurisdictions in climate action planning and reporting.

The Climate Action Data Portal builds on the SANDAG Regional Climate Action Planning Framework (ReCAP), a guidance document that establishes regionally consistent methods for climate planning. Jurisdictions in the San Diego region use this framework to identify best practices for preparing, updating, or implementing a Climate Action Plan.

The Climate Action Data Portal currently includes vehicle miles traveled (VMT) data for all of the jurisdictions in the region, as well as greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory and climate activity data for 15 of the 16 cities that are part of the SANDAG Roadmap Program which encompasses SANDAG’s climate planning services.

The portal is at https://sandagapi.hntb-tsc.com/
